Mother’s Day Market Giveaway 2026 – Terms & Conditions

1. General

1.1 The Distillery Road Market Mother’s Day Market Giveaway 2026 (Competition) is run by Tonken OC Pty Ltd as trustee for the Tonken OC Trust trading as Distillery Road Market, registered address c/- 124 Distillery Road, Eagleby QLD 4207 (Promoter).

1.2 Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions (Terms). Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms. Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible.

1.3 The Competition will be conducted on Saturday 9 May 2026 during market trading hours (Promotional Period).

2. Competition Entry and Eligibility

2.1 Entry is open to Queensland residents aged 18 years and over (Entrants).

2.2 To enter, Entrants must, during the Promotional Period:

  • Scan the QR code displayed at the Distillery Road Market Mother’s Day Market event; and

  • Complete the entry form by providing their full name, email address, phone number, and a response to the prompt: “why your mum is the best.”

2.3 Each completed entry form constitutes one (1) entry. Multiple entries are not permitted unless otherwise stated by the Promoter.

2.4 Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, vendors participating in the market, and any agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter.

2.5 All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, or illegible entries, or for any technical disruptions affecting entry.

2.6 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and Entrants and to disqualify any Entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms.

3. Promotion Prizes

3.1 Multiple prizes are available, including:

  • A selection of prizes supplied by Distillery Road Market vendors; and

  • One (1) Perentie voucher.

3.2 Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

3.3 Prize values will vary depending on vendor contributions. The total prize pool value is determined by participating vendors and the Promoter.

3.4 Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

3.5 If a prize (or part of a prize) becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.

3.6 The Perentie voucher must be claimed within 30 days of notification or it may be forfeited at the Promoter’s discretion.

3.7 Prizes supplied by third-party vendors may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by those vendors.

4. Promotion Draw and Notification

4.1 The draw will take place at 5:00pm AEST on Saturday 9 May 2026.

4.2 Winners will be notified via email on the same day.

4.3 If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within a reasonable timeframe, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.

5. Prize Collection

5.1 Winners must collect their prize from the Distillery Road Market Centre Management Office between 8:00am and 4:00pm from Tuesday 12 May 2026.

5.2 Proof of identity may be required to collect the prize.

5.3 If a prize is not collected within a reasonable timeframe determined by the Promoter, the prize may be forfeited and a redraw conducted.

5.4 By accepting a prize, winners agree to have their photo taken at the time of collection for promotional use, unless otherwise advised in writing.

6. Privacy

6.1 The Promoter is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Personal information collected will be used for the purpose of conducting this Competition and for marketing communications by the Promoter.

6.2 By entering, Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in promotional material without compensation.

6.3 Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting the Promoter at info@drm.market.

6.4 The Promoter may disclose Entrants’ personal information to third parties assisting with the Competition and as required by law.

7. Promoter’s Liability

7.1 The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of participating in the Competition or accepting a prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

7.2 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications arising from prize winnings. Independent advice should be sought.

7.3 If the Competition cannot be conducted as planned due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Competition.

7.4 To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the Competition.

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1 Any disputes will be handled in accordance with the following:
(a) The disputing party must notify the other in writing;
(b) Both parties will attempt to resolve the dispute within 20 business days;
(c) If unresolved, the dispute may be referred to mediation or other alternative dispute resolution methods.
