CELEBRATE DAD & SPRING INTO DISTILLERY ROAD MARKET THIS MONTH

Spring has sprung at Distillery Road Market (DRM), with the lifestyle and entertainment precinct the perfect place to pick up a gift for Dad this Father’s Day while celebrating the warmer months ahead.

DRM’s lively Bazaar Markets are back on this Thursday 1st and 15th of September; the ideal place to pick up a heartfelt gift for dad or treat him to a night out with gourmet eats and live beats.

With numerous local artisan vendors trading inside DRM’s Market Hall space, marketgoers can shop a wide range of handmade, ethical, and sustainable wares from traders, and fresh produce from local growers, meats, preserves, bulk foods, artisan wares, plants and more.

Meander through the markets with the whole family and enjoy some gourmet eats and treats from Pickle and Zest (jams, preserves and honey), Ohh de Naturale (Handmade Beauty Products), The Spice Stall (Spices and Teas) and much more.

With spring on our doorstep, guests will be able to ease into the warmer months ahead with two special workshops throughout September and October at DRM’s Bazaar Markets.

Gather the gang and flaunt your creativity at the Paint & Sip workshop with Cork & Chroma on Thursday 1st September. No artistic experience is required as their artists guide visitors through a step-by-step on how to paint ‘Fields of Gold’ on canvas.

Welcome springtime by indulging in a little floral therapy and taking part in DRM’s relaxing DIY Dried Flower Arrangement workshop, hosted on Thursday 6th October. This 1.5 hour workshop will provide all the materials needed to create a beautiful, seasonal dried and preserved flower arrangement.

Visitors can also enjoy the enticing fare of onsite outlets Sugar Creek Smokehouse, Kiwanda Café, Posadas Cantina and a rotating roster of local food trucks, each time you visit.

There’s plenty more action taking place next month in October, with the family favourite DRM Trucks & Tunes back on Saturday 29th October for a spooky Halloween edition pop-up market hosted by BrisStyle, featuring lively local entertainment, makers, and market stalls.

Located off Exit 35 of the M1 Motorway with more than 600 car parks at the precinct, DRM is located advantageously along the Gold Coast and Brisbane growth corridor in the rapidly growing Logan City, making the markets both visible and easily assessable from the M1 Motorway.

With free entry, parking and entertainment, DRM’s market experiences have been created to celebrate and showcase the best of SEQ’s marketeers and food vendors.
