Eat, Drink, Shop and be Merry

  • Distillery Road Market 124 Distillery Road Eagleby, QLD, 4207 Australia (map)

Get in the festive spirit while discovering a diverse and unique range of gifts this holiday season with Eat, Drink, Shop and be Merry, a Christmas event featuring over 75 local makers, artisans and creators at Distillery Road Market on Saturday the 7th of December from 11am - 9pm.

The indoor and air-conditioned Market Hall will come alive with a pop-up Christmas market brimming with a variety of local vendors where shoppers will find hand-crafted jewellery, clothing and accessories, home decor, art, ceramics, plants, bath & body products, gifts for babies and children’s and more.

On the day, there’s a special visit from Santa’s elves spreading their Christmas cheer, and Mr & Mrs Claus will drop by giving visitors the opportunity to nab a photo with their favourite Christmas personalities under a larger-than-life wreath, suspended above the Market Hall.

Enjoy an entertaining lineup of live, free music on the outdoor stage. Delivering their stellar guitar riffs and soulful vocals, local legends Blackline are performing at Distillery Road Market for the first time. A full line-up will be released closer to the date.

Fuel-up and enjoy a bite to eat from one of the onsite food vendors in The F.E.D (food and entertainment district) serving up food from 11am including Sugar Creek Smokehouse, Posadas Mexican Kitchen, Slice It and Wing It or head next door to Perentie Brewing Co. for a truly local brew or a dish from their kitchen. For those craving something sweet, head into the market hall for the pop-up dessert alley featuring mobile food vendors serving up ice-cream, fairy floss, iced beverages, decadent brownies, slices and loaded cookies.

Ditch the chain stores this year and support your local, micro businesses to find thoughtfully curated gifts fit for the pickiest of family members
